How It Works: Download the Squirrel Away App
Squirrel Away makes investing in your child’s future simple and impactful. Every gift becomes an opportunity to build lasting financial security.
Step 1: Sign Up
Create your account in just a few minutes by completing your personal details
Step 2: Upload your KYC Documents
Submit the following documents for verification:
ID
Proof of Address (not older than 3 months)
Proof of Bank Account (not older than 3 months
Once approved, you are ready to start transacting!
Step 3: Complete your Account Details
Navigate to the Profile tab, and enter your full details, including a short biography. You can also upload a profile picture to personalise your account.
Step 4: Add Your Dependants
Navigate to Profile > Dependants, then select Add New Dependant.
Complete all required fields and upload:
Your dependant’s birth certificate
Their bank account confirmation letter
Step 5: Deposit Funds Into Your Wallet
From the Home screen, tap Deposit and follow the prompts to add money into your Squirrel Away wallet.
Step 6: Send Money to your Dependant
On the Home page, select the dependant you’d like to gift. Scroll down and tap Send Money, then enter the required details and confirm.
Step 7: Share your Payment Link
Want others to contribute? Tap Share Payment Link on the Home screen and send it to your network so they can gift you directly.
Step 8: Share your Dependant’s Payment Link
To allow friends and family to send gifts directly to your dependant, select the dependant from the Home screen, scroll down, and tap Share Payment Link. Share the link with your network.
